Parks & Public Spaces

From play structures and restrooms to fitness experiences at every level, at Port parks and public spaces, we recognize that everyone's experience with nature is unique. That’s why we strive to make our public spaces and outdoor play areas inclusive to all.

Employment

We firmly believe in, and are committed to, the principles and practices of equal employment opportunity and nondiscrimination. It is the policy of the Port to recruit, hire, train, and promote persons in all job classifications without regard to age (40 and above), ancestry, color, disability (mental or physical), gender (including identity, appearance, or behavior, whether or not that identity, appearance, or behavior is different from that traditionally associated with the person's sex at birth), marital status, medical condition, military status, national origin, pregnancy, race, religion, sexual orientation, genetic information, or veteran status. It is also Port policy that all businesses are provided equal opportunity to participate in the performance of District contracting and leasing opportunities. The Port is further committed to ensuring that all public and private services, programs and facilities be fully usable and accessible to all persons, with or without disabilities as defined by the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).

We are working continuously to improve our accessibility offerings. If you have suggestions, questions, or specific accessibility needs, please reach out.
