Improved Air Quality is Progress 

When Maritime operations, strong partnerships, and zero emission tech work together – what happens? Progress towards reduced emissions.  

Five years ago, in partnership with the community, the Port of San Diego began developing the goals and objectives of what would become known as the Maritime Clean Air Strategy (MCAS). The strategy was (and still is!) ambitious and has put the Port and our partners on the leading edge of adopting zero emission technologies and improving maritime operations, earning us the “Port of Firsts” title.
