Experience New Adventures

Enjoy good vibes along the waterfront in America’s Finest City.

There is nothing like recentering with views of San Diego Bay. Here are some great places to help you take on 2022 refreshed and ready to go. If you want to make it an overnight adventure, there are beautiful hotels within walking distance from all the hottest outdoor bars, restaurants, and shopping.

Waterfront Fun

Come visit the new Seaport Village. This bayfront hot spot, built in the 80s, has gotten a facelift and has some of the hottest places to eat, drink and shop along the waterfront. You can go from having flights of local craft beer, to some of the best food in town, to dessert all in one place.

The Maritime Museum will have you wondering what it was like to captain a ship a century ago, or what it felt like to drop down to the deep sea in a submarine – all as you tour vintage vessels.

City Cruises by Hornblower has departures for every occasion, and its Dinner and a Movie on the Bay Cruise is a double bill with blockbuster movies and dining from the deck. Meanwhile, you can only say you’re a San Diegan after you’ve taken the Flagship Coronado Ferry on a sun splashed day.

If the ocean is calling, Seaforth Boat Rentals – San Diego’s largest boat rental and yacht charter company – will answer.

If you haven’t visited The Headquarters at Seaport District, call on the former San Diego Police Department HQ in this reimagined dining and retail hot spot.

Hop aboard the U.S.S. Midway Museum and see what it was like on America’s longest-serving aircraft carrier of the 20th century.
