Bayside Park is now Harbor Park!
Harbor Park (formerly Bayside Park) is being expanded and improved. A new nautical-themed playground opened in October 2026, and a splash pad and other improvements in the southern portion of the new park area will be completed in spring 2027. The new Harbor Park will double the recreation area from about 12 to 25 acres, giving families and visitors more space to enjoy the Chula Vista Bayfront and San Diego Bay. It’s all a part of the Port of San Diego and City of Chula Vista’s transformation of the Chula Vista Bayfront. Click here for more information.
