Parking Rates, Hours of Operation, and Holidays

Proposed Parking Meter and Pay Station Rate Range Adjustment, Rate Increase, Time of Operation Change, and an Additional Holiday Exemption along the North Embarcadero

The Port of San Diego is holding a public meeting to provide information and obtain feedback on proposed amendments to San Diego Unified Port District Code Section 8.10 – Parking Meter Rates and Pay Station Rates and Section 8.14 – Parking Meters – Time of Operation.

The rate range will be Portwide, and the recommended increases in rates and times of operation are recommended for the North Embarcadero area, based on increased demand and rising costs for developing and maintaining Port facilities on San Diego Bay. 

When: Wednesday, October 14 at 4 p.m.

Where: Port of San Diego Administration Building, 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego

The public is encouraged to attend the meetings above and/or to send questions and comments by email to: parking@portofsandiego.org.

All feedback will be collected and provided to the Board of Port Commissioners. Port staff anticipates presenting the proposed updates to the Board at their meeting on November 17 at 1 p.m. at the Port Administration Building.
