Public Meeting - Grand Caribe Shoreline Park Erosion Improvements Project

The Port of San Diego is hosting a second public meeting on Thursday, November 19 to provide an update on the development of a long-term, nature-based coastal resilience strategy for the eastern shoreline of Grand Caribe Shoreline Park. The goals of the project are to stabilize the shoreline, reduce erosion, maintain public access, and preserve existing habitat.

Meeting Details
Thursday, November 19 at 5 p.m.
Grand Caribe Room – Coronado Cays Homeowners Association
505 Grand Caribe Causeway
Coronado, CA 92118

The project team will present an overview and update on the project. This will include progress made on a design concept that incorporates feedback following the first public meeting and input from additional coastal site assessments and technical studies. The team will also discuss how the Port is preparing for anticipated short-term impacts associated with El Niño-related storms and coastal flooding events. Following the presentation, participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide input on the design concept with the project team.
