The Port of San Diego is the title sponsor and organizer for the Big Bay Boom, the region's premier Independence Day celebration and the largest synchronized fireworks display on the West Coast. This year, join us in celebrating the nation's 250th anniversary! 

After nightfall on July 4th, fireworks will launch from four barges on San Diego Bay, creating a spectacular and dancing display of color and light that is professionally choregraphed and synced to a musical simulcast. The Port is anticipating over 400,000 attendees will gather along the waterfront for this free event, and tens of thousands more will watch it on screens across California and the country.
