The Port of San Diego invites the community to attend “A Day at the Park: A Port Experiences Series” event along the Barrio Logan Bayfront. The free family-friendly event is scheduled for Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.
“A Day at the Park” is a Port-sponsored multicultural celebration featuring local performers, artists, food vendors, kid-friendly activities and more. The event series began in 2024 and has since welcomed hundreds of visitors and residents to the San Diego Bay waterfront.
“The Port of San Diego is thrilled to welcome the community to the third “A Day at the Park” event at our park in Barrio Logan,” said Commissioner Sid Voorakkara, one of San Diego’s three appointees to the Board of Port Commissioners. “While families and neighbors enjoy this park year-round, this annual event activates the park with live entertainment, local food vendors, and fun activities along the waterfront. This park is a true gem among the Port’s 23 parks, and we look forward to sharing it with everyone.”
