Tracey Sandberg is the Chief Technology Officer. She was formerly the Director of Information Technology and has been with the Port of San Diego since February 2018 and has more than 33 years of experience in information technology. Prior to joining the Port, Sandberg led large IT operations teams across multiple industries including higher education, mortgage banking and automobile manufacturing. Her specialties include cloud strategy, IT finance and contract negotiation, infrastructure and enterprise carrier WAN, ITIL processes, contact center strategy, and fostering an energized, productive, effective, and fun workplace. Sandberg holds a Juris Doctor degree from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, a Master of Business Administration degree from National University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from National University.
