Mark Yeilding was appointed Port Auditor in March 2021 after serving as Acting Auditor since January 2020. Yeilding, who began his career at the Port of San Diego in 2014, formerly served as Assistant Port Auditor, and prior to that was a Deputy Port Auditor. Before joining the Port, he held various corporate and finance positions with CareFusion, a global corporation serving the healthcare industry with medical products and services. Yeilding holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Southern California and a bachelor’s in accountancy from the University of San Diego. He is a Certified Internal Auditor and Certified Government Auditing Professional, earning both certifications through the Institute of Internal Auditors.
