Public Art Opportunities

The Public Art Office encourages artists interested in learning more about the artist opportunities and art-related news with the Port of San Diego to subscribe to the RSS for Public Art Opportunities (http://j.mp/portsd-publicart).  This is the Public Art Office’s primary means of communicating opportunities to artists.

tideLANDS2

thumb-callforartists-tidelands-2-1tideLANDS is a Port of San Diego program designed to encourage artistic exploration of Port tidelands by California artists.

tideLANDS² is the second installment of the tideLANDS program. Artists selected will create temporary public artworks such as installations, social and spatial interventions and other inventive practices that reflect their visual art practice and are created in direct response to a site with the aim of stimulating dialogue and providing new perspectives on the San Diego waterfront.

Art Budget: Up to three artists/artist teams will each receive $20,000 budget to realize their artwork.
Application Deadline: April 9, 2013
