The Harbor Police Bicycle Team is comprised of four full time members and sixteen alternate members. The alternate members are primarily utilized during special events. The bike team members actively patrol the parks and boardwalks around San Diego Bay and Port District tidelands. The team has been extremely effective in curbing a wide variety of criminal activities during their short tenure with the Harbor Police Department.
