Message for Immediate Release

As part of our DUI Enforcement and Awareness program, officers from the San Diego Unified Port District’s Harbor Police Department will conduct a sobriety checkpoint on Friday, August 10th, 2007. The checkpoint will be conducted in the area of westbound North Harbor Drive, 4100 Block, and will operate from 8:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.

In it’s effort to improve roadway safety for everyone who enjoys the Port of San Diego Tidelands, the Harbor Police Department will be conducting sobriety checkpoints and DUI enforcement days through the end of September, 2007, under a program funded by the California Office of Traffic Safety.
