The Harbor Police Blotter allows citizens to know what is happening on the waterfront. The blotter data is taken from the official calls for service records kept by the Port of San Diego's Harbor Police Department.
All calls listed are for service in the Port's jurisdiction. These areas are the waterfront of the five member cities, which include San Diego, Coronado, National City, Chula Vista and Imperial Beach, as well as the San Diego Airport. No assumption of criminal guilt or affiliation should be drawn from the information provided.
The 145-member Harbor Police Department is the law enforcement arm of the Port of San Diego. It provides public safety and marine fire-fighting services throughout the tidelands and San Diego Bay. Officers patrol San Diego International Airport under contract with the San Diego County Regional Airport Authority. The department works closely with federal, state and local law enforcement agencies and terrorism task forces to ensure the security of the Port and tidelands. The Harbor Police respond to a variety of calls each day.
