The San Diego Harbor Police Department is the law enforcement authority for the San Diego Unified Port District. We offer a wide array of opportunities, from vehicle patrol to marine firefighter to explosives K-9 handler at Lindbergh Field. The San Diego Harbor Police Department is currently hiring Harbor Police Officer Lateral and Harbor Police Officer Trainee. Officers are hired through the Human Resources Department of the San Diego Unified Port District, which can be contacted at (619) 686-6315.

To apply for a position with the Harbor Police Department, you must first successfully complete the Harbor Police Officer Trainee written test. When the test date is announced, you will fill out the application below and bring it with you to the test. Select from one of the following applications below. If you have never held the status of a sworn police officer, you must select the Officer Trainee Application.
