
Cid Tesoro was appointed Assistant Vice President of Infrastructure in January 2016 overseeing the Engineering-Construction and General Services departments. He formerly served as a manager of design and major maintenance. Prior to joining the Port of San Diego, Tesoro spent more than 28 years in the public sector developing a wide spectrum of projects and programs for the County of San Diego, Caltrans and the County of Los Angeles. He has extensive experience with the development of comprehensive stormwater programs, transportation projects, and emergency response mitigation. Tesoro has served as the San Diego County Flood Control District Manager and as a Board Commissioner for the Southern California Coastal Water Research Project. He is a registered civil engineer in the State of California and holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from San Diego State University.
