Location InformationThe Port of San Diego is opening the doors to its Aquatic Center from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021, for a free, family-friendly holiday celebration for the community. The Port’s Aquatic Center is located in the heart of Pepper Park at 3299 Tidelands Avenue, National City. Guests can enjoy complimentary holiday treats, refreshments, giveaways, activities, and have their photo taken with Santa, who will be on center stage ready to share some holiday cheer!
For those looking to shop for unique holiday gifts, several local, artisan craft vendors will be on site with one-of-a-kind offerings available for purchase.
“The Port of San Diego is excited to welcome the community to this special holiday event in the South Bay,” said Commissioner Sandy Naranjo, National City’s representative on the Board of Port Commissioners. “It will be wonderful to see everyone enjoy the holidays in person and for them to have an opportunity to experience the Port’s Aquatic Center.”
At the event, attendees can explore the Port’s Aquatic Center, a beautiful waterfront event space perfect for family parties, intimate weddings, corporate events, and community meetings, and learn about the Port of San Diego.
No RSVP is required to attend, and parking at the venue is free and plentiful.
***Additionally, beginning at 4:45 p.m., a free shuttle will be available for pick-up and drop-off. It will run continuously between the intersection of Hoover Avenue and W 22nd Street (across from the Paradise Creek Apartments) and the Port Aquatic Center at Pepper Park. See map here.***
