Don’t Throw It Away! Electronic Recycling & Household Good Donation Day

Location Information

Port of San Diego Administration Building Public Parking Lot
3165 Pacific Highway
San Diego, CA 92101

In partnership with Goodwill Industries of San Diego County, the Port of San Diego is hosting "Don’t Throw It Away!", an Earth Week event to encourage the public to recycle old or unused electronics and household goods.

Did you know when you properly discard electronic and household goods, you are helping to take care of San Diego Bay and our planet? When old electronics are not properly discarded, they can leak damaging substances into the air as well as the ground and surface water, which has harmful effects on people, animals and the planet. Reusing household goods also reduces air, water and land pollution and limits the need for natural resources to be used for making new products.

Recycle your old electronics and donate household goods at the Port of San Diego headquarters during Earth Week. We will have special prizes and giveaways, plus entertainment from KYXY 96.5 FM on site!
