The Port of San Diego's Festival of Sail is returning to town with a bang!
This Labor Day weekend, cannon fire will signal the arrival of 20 majestic tall ships from all over the world as they sail into the bay, arriving at the Maritime Museum of San Diego and the Embarcadero.

Port of San Diego employee, Matt McCoy, is a member of the 2010 winning team in the "Masters A" Category of the 30th Annual U.S. Open Sand Castle Competition. The grouping is the top category in the competition.

Take the scenic route through the Port of San Diego tidelands – San Diego, Coronado, Imperial Beach, Chula Vista and National City – on a 25-mile bike ride around San Diego Bay.
On Sunday, August 29, 2010, at 7 a.m., join thousands of people at the 2010 Bike the Bay. Participants can take advantage of the rare opportunity to bike on the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge.

San Diego Bay is the place to be on Sunday, July 4, 2010 when the 10th Annual Port of San Diego Big Bay Boom fills the sky with a spectacular pyrotechnic light show.
Four barges will be placed strategically in San Diego Bay off the shorelines of Shelter Island, Harbor Island, the North Embarcadero area and between Seaport Village and the Coronado Ferry Landing. The fireworks will be visible from all of the Port's parks around the northern and central San Diego Bay area. These include Shelter Island, Harbor Island, Spanish Landing, Embarcadero Marina Parks North and South, Cesar Chavez Park, Coronado Tidelands Park and the Imperial Beach Pier.
