Environmental Impact Report - Revised Draft

A Revised Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared to evaluate the potential environmental impacts that may result from implementation of the Chula Vista Bayfront Master Plan (CVBMP) Proposed Project. The Revised Draft EIR was circulated for a 60-day public review period from May 23, 2008 to August 7, 2008. During the comment period, the Port received 62 comment letters (totally 947 individual comments) from Federal, State and local agencies, as well as organizations and interested citizens.  The Revised Draft EIR revised, updated and expanded the Draft EIR for the Proposed Project, which was previously circulated from September 29, 2006, to November 27, 2006.

The Port prepared the Revised EIR in a good faith effort to respond to the 2006 Draft EIR public comments, to provide additional information concerning the design of specific development projects, and to address changes that have been made to various aspects of the Proposed Project.
