Selection Panel to Meet on San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge Lighting Project Proposals

The selection panel for the San Diego-Coronado Bay Bridge lighting project will begin at 10 a.m Friday, July 23, 2010, in the Port of San Diego's Training Room, 3165 Pacific Highway (map).

The panel, comprised of experts in art, architecture, lighting and green energy, is scheduled to evaluate three artistic concept proposals and recommend one team to the Board of Port Commissioners.

In 2008, the Port released an international call for artists seeking qualifications of artist-led teams interested in developing environmentally-friendly lighting concept proposals for the bridge.
