Urban Trees 5 Unveiled

The 31 artworks were officially dedicated and unveiled on August 2. The Marketing, Public Art and General Services departments worked together to facilitate the event. In attendance were the artists, their guests, Port employees and Saturday morning visitors to the waterfront.

Before the unveiling of all the trees, an artist reception took place in front of the cruise ship terminal. Commissioner Mike Najera and Public Art Director Catherine Sass addressed the crowd and recognized the artists for their work.
