National City Bayfront Improvements

Welcome to the National City Bayfront Improvements page. This page provides information on the joint planning process between the Port and the City of National City. The project comprises a set of public infrastructure improvements for the area bordered by the Sweetwater Channel and Marina Way in National City. The plan will benefit the entire region, enhancing the waterfront’s appeal as a center of activity.

The revitalization of the National City waterfront is coming soon in the form of two key projects scheduled for completion in late 2006. Read more about the National City Marina and the National City Aquatic Center.
