Public Outreach Meeting #4

A workshop for the project was held on December 7, 2005. This meeting focused on the Revision to the Draft EIR. Interested parties were provided an opportunity to comment on the revised environmental document prepared for the project.

Public Outreach Meeting #3

A public workshop for the project was held on Tuesday, August 2, 2005 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Embarcadero Planning Center (formerly the Coral Reef Restaurant). This meeting focused on the Draft EIR and provided interested parties an opportunity to comment on the environmental document prepared for the project.

Design Concept Presented to Board of Port Commissioners

At the Board of Port Commissioner's meeting held on June 21, 2005, the project team presented schematic design drawings prepared for the Old Police Headquarters and Harbor Seafood Mart site. The drawings, which were submitted under requirements of the Option Agreement, were presented to the Board for informational purposes and to receive comments from the Board and members of the public.

Public Outreach Meeting #2

The Port of San Diego and Seaport Village Operating Company (GMS Realty, LLC) hosted a second public outreach workshop for the project on Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at the Embarcadero Planning Center. At this meeting, more detailed levels of the project’s planning and design concepts were presented. The project team obtained feedback and numerous comments from interested attendees.

Public Outreach Meeting #1

On March 8, 2005, the Port of San Diego and Seaport Village Operating Company (GMS Realty, LLC) hosted a public meeting at the Embarcadero Planning Center (formerly the Coral Reef Restaurant). During this session, the project team provided an overview of the project goals, proposed uses and conceptual design plans. Attendees were provided an opportunity to ask questions of the team and were encouraged to give comments. The feedback obtained from the public will be considered during further development of the project’s conceptual plans.
