Shipside bulk loading facilities at the Port of San Diego's 10th Avenue Marine Terminal can handle the receipt of dry bulk commodity.

An on-site heavyweight bulk loader, an automated bulk silo complex and a traveling railcar loader all help ensure that your product is transferred from storage to ship with the greatest efficiency possible.

Bulk Loader Specifications

• At 2,000 tons per hour, rated as one of the world's most efficient
• Boom travels 500 ft. (152.4 m.) laterally while extended or raised to accommodate ships of any shape or size

Bulk Silos

• 32,900-metric-ton bulk storage complex
• Bottom-drop dumping pit

Traveling Loader

• 500 ft. (152.4 m.) of track provides access to all points of discharge
• Able to receive voice communication at any location

Bulk Unloading

• New Siwertell ship unloader with rated capacity of 800 metric tons per hour
