The San Diego Harbor Police Dispatchers received a call of a motor vehicle versus a motorcycle collision at 1880 Harbor Island Drive, San Diego, CA. Upon arrival of the Harbor Police, several persons administering CPR were attending to the operator of the motorcycle.

Harbor Police deployed an AED (Auto External Defibrillator). San Diego Fire Department Engine 1 and San Diego Rural Metro Medic 1 responded to the scene and took over care of the motorcycle operator.

The initial investigation revealed that the operator of the motorcycle was West bound on Harbor Island Drive and collided with a pick up truck pulling out of a driveway at 1880 Harbor Island Drive. The motorcycle operator was taken to UCSD Medical Center by MEDIC 1.

The cause of the collision is under investigation by the San Diego Harbor Police Department Traffic Team.
