Records Division & Police Reports

The San Diego Harbor Police Records Division is the main point of contact for individuals and other agencies needing information regarding Harbor Police activity. Along with providing general information, the Records Division can be contacted for Harbor Police reports and a variety of other services including the issuance of permits related to activities and business on San Diego Tidelands.

Police Reports

Copies of police reports are available from the Harbor Police Records Division. There is a $4.00 processing fee for each report copy provided. The necessary application for requesting a police report can be obtained in person at Harbor Police Headquarters or can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate link below.

• Application for an Arrest Report
• Application for a Complaint/Request for Assistance Report
• Application for a Crime Report

Reports involving an arrest can only be released by mail. All other reports can be mailed or picked up in person at Harbor Police Headquarters. To receive a report by mail, complete the application and either mail it or deliver it to the Harbor Police Records Division along with a self addressed, stamped envelope and check or money order ($4.00 for each report) made out to the Port of San Diego (no cash please).

Please Note: Copies of police reports are available only to those parties involved in an incident.
