There were nine arrests this week. Two people were arrested for drunken driving and three people were arrested for being drunk in public. One juvenile was arrested and one person was arrested on an outstanding warrant. In addition, arrests were made for indecent exposure and possessing a deadly weapon.

At San Diego International Airport, Harbor Police responded to 10 sick/injury calls. Two people considered a danger to themselves or others were taken to the county's psychiatric hospital. One person suffered lower back pain and cuts to the arm and one person had high blood pressure. One person complained of pain in the back of the head, and one person suffered cuts to the hands, knees and shins. All were transported to UCSD Medical Center for additional medical attention. In addition, one person fell to the ground and was taken to Scripps Mercy, and three people with minor injuries refused additional medical attention.

There were five K9 reports. At San Diego International Airport, unattended luggage, a box and backpack were searched with negative results. A vehicle was searched on the corner of Laning Road and Rosecrans Street with negative results. In addition, in the 600 block of Pacific Highway, near Embassy Suites, a vehicle was searched with negative results.

Crime reports included the theft of luggage and other personal property. Near Shoreline Park, a small boat was vandalized. In addition, a verbal altercation was reported at San Diego International Airport.

At San Diego International Airport, miscellaneous reports included an abandoned toy gun and ammunition. A passenger was disrupted a flight and there was a suspicious person at a checkpoint. A person interfered with the screening process and a vehicle in the airport parking lot was tampered with. At the San Diego Hilton Bayfront, marijuana was found, a bicycle was stolen, and a nine millimeter pistol was found in a hotel room. In addition, there were reports of missing employee identification badges. At the Harbor Police Department, a bicycle was left at the lobby.

Citations were issued for a number of infractions. Drivers were cited for failing to obey traffic signs, running a red light, driving an unregistered vehicle, and having a broken head or tail light. Drivers were also cited for not yielding to pedestrians at a crosswalk, having an expired registration, possessing an open alcoholic container, having tinted windows, speeding, and using their cell phone while driving. Two people at San Diego International Airport were cited for possessing a knife at a checkpoint. In addition, there were multiple reports of people possessing less than one ounce of marijuana.

On Shelter Island Drive, there was a report of diesel fuel

There were two traffic collision reports. One was caused when a person failed to obey traffic signs. The other was caused when the driver was following the car too close.
