There were eight arrests this week. One person was arrested for drunken driving and two people were arrested for being drunk in public. One person was arrested for driving with a suspended license and two people were arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. In addition, arrests were made for domestic violence and battery.

Harbor Police responded to five sick/injury calls. Three people considered a danger to themselves or others were taken to the county's mental hospital. At San Diego International Airport, one person suffered a cut forehead and swollen left knee and was taken to Mercy Hospital. In addition, one person suffered multiple cuts and refused additional medical attention.

There were three K9 reports. In the 2000 block of Pacific Highway, a vehicle was searched with negative results. A vessel on San Diego Bay was searched with negative results, and a suspicious item was searched at San Diego International Airport with negative results.

Crime reports included the theft of multiple luggage bags and other personal property. Near Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, a person hit another person. In another incident at the Hyatt, one person was hit in the face and was taken to UCSD Medical Center. In addition, a person threw a cell phone at a woman and struck her in the chest.

At San Diego International Airport, miscellaneous reports included abandoned ammunition, knives, firecrackers, and sparklers at various checkpoints. There were numerous reports of missing employee identification badges. At Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego, a person reported the window washer was peeping through the windows. In addition, someone was taking pictures of the Port building.

Citations were issued for a number of infractions. Drivers were cited for not having an illuminated license plate, having an expired registration, driving an unregistered vehicle, not having insurance, and using their cell phone while driving. Drivers were also cited for having a defective windshield, failing to obey traffic signs, driving with a suspended license, driving over a median, and driving the wrong way on a one way street. At Embarcadero Marina Park North, one person was cited for being in the park after hours and one person was cited for smoking in the park. In addition, one person at the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego was cited for playing music too loudly.

One missing person report was filed. At the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel, one person went missing and left a suicide note. The person was later found at Paradise Valley Hospital.
