There were 25 arrests this week. Eight people were arrested for being drunk in public and six people were arrested for drunken driving. One person was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance and one person was arrested for possessing cocaine. Two people were arrested for petty theft and one person was arrested for grand theft. Three people were arrested on outstanding warrants, including two who were charged with felonies. In addition, there were arrests for possessing a deadly weapon, violating parole, and resisting an officer.

At San Diego International Airport, Harbor Police responded to eight sick/injury calls. Two people considered a danger to themselves or others were taken to the county's mental hospital. Two people suffered from cuts on the head. One person was taken to Kaiser Hospital and the other person refused medical attention. One person complained of pain in the hip and was transported to UCSD Medical Center. The three others had minor injuries that did not require additional medical attention. In addition, one person was taken to the county mental hospital after being picked up at the San Diego Bayfront Hilton Hotel.

There was one K9 report. At San Diego International Airport, four commuter terminal boarding gates were searched with negative results.

Crime reports included the theft of cell phones, a credit card, and other personal property. In addition, near the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, an intoxicated couple was involved in a verbal argument.

At San Diego International Airport, miscellaneous reports included abandoned ammunition and knives at various check points. The baggage claim was unattended by Transportation Security Administration staff for half an hour and a passenger's personal items were improperly screened. In addition, there was a report of guns at a Delta Air Lines baggage claim. Near the San Diego Marriott Marquis & Marina, a family got into an argument about their children's playtime. In addition, one gram of marijuana was found in a Hertz vehicle and there were numerous reports of missing property including two cell phones, a wallet, a green card, currency, and credit cards.

Citations were issued for a number of infractions. Drivers were cited for speeding, driving without a license, having an expired registration, having a broken brake light, not signaling, and not having proof of insurance. Drivers were also cited for using their cell phone while driving, not using their seatbelt, going the wrong way on a one way street, not having their lights on, not having a child seat for a child five years of age or younger and under 60 pounds, and failing to obey traffic signs.

In addition, one driver was cited for having a passenger under 21 years old with an open alcohol container. On San Diego Bay, one person was cited for fishing without a license. At San Diego International Airport, four people were cited for possessing a firearm or knife at a checkpoint.

At Embarcadero Marina Park North, two people were cited for staying past closing hours and two people were cited for smoking. In addition, one person was cited for possessing less than one ounce of marijuana, one person was cited for possessing a prescription drug without a prescription and one person was cited for urinating in public.

There were five traffic collisions. Five of the accidents were caused by unsafe backing. The other accident was caused when the driver drove over a divider.

There were two incidents involving environmental pollution. On Shelter Island near the Friendship Bell, there appeared to be a small diesel spill and west of Harbor Island on San Diego Bay, an oil sheen was spotted.

At San Diego International Airport, a missing person from Florida was located and released to a family friend.
