Arrests:
Driving under the influence of alcohol - 6

There were 19 arrests this period. Six were for driving under the influence of alcohol, four for being drunk in public, two for violating a court order, two people were taken into custody for being a danger to themselves or others and there was one report each for possession of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, vandalism, domestic battery and outstanding warrants.
The Harbor Police responded to three sick/injury calls. Two of these resulted in the patient being transported to a hospital. One call involved a woman who fell at the airport and struck her head. The other call was for a man who had jumped or fallen into San Diego Bay.
The dive team responded to a mutual aid request to help search for a missing person in Lake Hodges. Another call for the dive team involved recovering the body of a man who was found floating in San Diego Bay.
The Harbor Police K-9 team assisted Coronado Police twice with searching a VIP motorcade for explosives. Both of these had negative results. The team also responded to two reports of unattended luggage at the airports. Those results were also negative.
Crime reports included a car break-in at the San Diego Convention Center, someone deliberately scratched a car on Harbor Island, a juvenile stole a bracelet and necklace from a shop in Seaport Village, tools were stolen from a car near Cesar Chavez Park, a restroom was vandalized at Seaport Village, property was taken from an aircraft, there was a report of someone being assaulted on Harbor Island, property was taken from a meeting room at the San Diego Convention Center and property was taken from a suitcase at San Diego International Airport.
Miscellaneous reports included seven incidents of abandoned ammunition at the airport, two airport employees reported lost identification badges, someone was in possession of steroids at the airport, a bottle opener was found on a Southwestern Airlines aircraft, there were two incidents of people conducting business on the tidelands without a permit, a fire alarm went off at the airport, drug paraphernalia was found at the airport and there were several reports of lost items including jewelry, wallets, identification cards, cell phones and medical equipment.
The Harbor Police issued 63 misdemeanor citations. Most of these were for traffic violations. There was one for urinating in public and several for being in a Port park after hours.
