There were 32 arrests this period. Nine were for driving under the influence of alcohol, five were for being drunk in public, four for possession of a controlled substance, four for being a danger to themselves or others, two for obstructing an officer, two for domestic violence, two for outstanding warrants and one each for false impersonation, trespassing, battery and transporting a controlled substance.

The Harbor Police K-9 team assisted the police at the University of California at San Diego with a security sweep for the Ambassador of Israel. The team also searched an unattended item at San Diego International Airport for the possibility of drugs or explosives. The search was negative.

Crime reports included property stolen from a suitcase at San Diego International Airport, a large catering/event tent at the Sheraton Harbor Island was vandalized, a car was broken into near the Embassy Suites Hotel downtown, there was a fight near the Comfort Inn Hotel near America's Cup Harbor, a fight near the Best Western Yacht Club Hotel on Shelter Island and a verbal dispute on Shelter Island. A suspect punched someone near Spanish Landing and property was taken from an aircraft at the airport.

Miscellaneous reports included six incidents of abandoned ammunition at the airport, a case of animal neglect, lost property at the airport, including a purse, IPod, laptop and case and a rare gold coin. Four airport employees reported lost airport identification badges, a boat with illegal immigrants ran aground in Imperial Beach, there was a report of a robbery on Hugo Street in Point Loma, a drunk passenger jumped off a fishing vessel into San Diego Bay and people were seen leaving unattended bags at the airport.

The Harbor Police issued 79 misdemeanor citations. Most of the violations were for speeding, talking on a cell phone while driving, or drinking alcohol on Port tidelands.
