Harbor Police Officers Receive Promotion

Two officers with the San Diego Harbor Police Department have received a promotion in rank.

Sgt. Todd Rakos and Sgt. Jonathan Taylor were sworn into their new roles at Harbor Police headquarters by Chief Kirk Sanfilippo on Thursday, February 26. Their promotion is effective Friday, February 27. A more formal promotional ceremony and celebration will occur at a later date in April.

Sgt. Rakos has been with the force since September 1991. Sgt. Taylor joined the department in August 1998.
