Stormwater Ordinance

The Port has established a legal authority to control the pollution going in and coming out of the storm drain system. This legal authority is provided in Article 10, Section 10 of the Port Code, which was revised in 2007 and includes procedures for controlling pollution, eliminating illegal discharge, reducing stormwater pollution, and inspecting facilities and operations. In addition, the ordinance allows enforcement when necessary.
