Did you know that if every U.S. computer and monitor were turned off at night, the nation could shut down eight large power stations and avoid emitting 7 million tons of CO2 each year?

Huge energy savings are just a click away. When you've finished using your computer each day, just take a moment to properly shut down your computer and turn off the monitor. Simply turning off the monitor (turn off small green light) will decrease your personal computer energy use by 60 percent. It's an easy action with a big benefit!
