Walking Tours

Urban Trees Exhibition

The Port's Public Art Program conceived this temporary exhibit to punctuate and activate the postcard views of San Diego Bay and invite people to stroll along and enjoy the pedestrian promenade.

The current exhibit, Urban Trees 6, features 30 trees from 30 artists and range from serious to lighthearted, whimsical to abstract. What many have in common is that they are kinetic, attracting attention as they move with the wind.

Download an interactive map of the trees to your phone, or text message special codes found at each Urban Tree to learn more about them. The exhibit can be seen along the bayside of Harbor Drive between the Cruise Ship Terminal and Harbor drive.

This fun art walk is well worth a visit!

Greatest Generation Park

Come See the Greatest Generation Art Collection

The collection, as well as other military memorials in the park honor and celebrate the people, events and military heritage spanning from World War II to today.

Located in the shadow of the decommissioned aircraft carrier USS Midway, the artwork provides a magnificent setting in which to learn, remember and become inspired.

The artwork is located in Tuna Harbor Park, on the shore of San Diego Bay.
