Final Environmental Impact Report Updated for Chula Vista Bayfront Master Plan

Changes have been made to the final Environmental Impact Report for the Chula Vista Bayfront Master Plan, a document that outlines the impact on land, water, air, traffic, noise and other affects from with the proposed development.

The updates incorporate additional benefits and protections provided for in the agreement with the Bayfront Coalition approved by the Board of Port Commissioners at the May 4, 2010, Board meeting. The changes are referred to as an errata in planning language.

The Board of Port Commissioners and the Chula Vista City Council will hold a special joint meeting at 1 p.m., May 18, 2010, in the Chula Vista City Council chambers, located at 276 4th Avenue, in Chula Vista. Officials are expected to review and adopt the  Final Environmental Impact Report and Master Plan Amendment for the Chula Vista Bayfront development.
