Labels: Press ReleasesNews

Chula Vista City Councilmen Rudy Ramirez and Mitch Thompson recently hosted an informational meeting on the Chula Vista Bayfront Master Plan. More than 50 residents and business representatives attended the informal gathering on April 29.

Representatives of the Port of San Diego, City of Chula Vista and Pacifica Companies provided updates on the Master Plan and answered questions about proposed development, environmental preservation efforts, and planned parks and open space. They also announced that the Port and City will vote on the Environmental Impact Report and supporting planning documents for the project at a special joint hearing Tuesday, May 18. The hearing will be held at 1 p.m. in Chula Vista City Council chambers.

The presentation was part of the Port of San Diego’s ongoing public outreach and education effort for the Chula Vista Bayfront Master Plan. For more information, visit the Chula Vista Bayfront Master Plan.
