SPARTA Insurance Program

The San Diego Unified Port District offers SPARTA, an insurance program designed to provide Commercial General Liability, Excess General Liability and Professional Liability insurance coverage to vendors who do not have insurance, or have inadequate limits, to successfully bid and compete for business with the District. SPARTA is less expensive than a standard insurance policy because the coverage provided is specifically for the job or contract the vendor has with the District.
